Accounting Technician

My current Role as an Accounting Technician has allowed me to utilize the knowledge acquired from university. Entering the Company in an Accounts Payable Position my main responsibilities are to deal with suppliers, coding invoices, entering data, cost analysis, as well as providing computer assistance throughout the office. Since acquiring this position it has extended to comprise intermediate accounting functions which include entering car deals into accounting and reconciling Various General Ledger and Sub-ledger Accounts on the Balance sheet. I have also taken on the challenge of performing the entire accounting function for Autowash Express, including Government remittances, Accounts Receivable and payable, preparation of financial statements as well as other day-to-day activities. Other duties include training our Co-op Student, daily bank deposits, QuickBooks and Reynolds and Reynolds ERA system experience.
